As your current San Diego Leather Bear 2025, I’ve stepped into this role not only with pride, but with a clear purpose: to create spaces that unapologetically center queer identity, expression, and kink-positive community here in San Diego.
One thing I’ve noticed is a lack of events that truly center queer folks in all our beautiful complexity. For many of us, “queer” is not just a label, but a political and cultural identity — one that resists categorization and challenges expectations around gender, bodies, and desire.
Too often, we’re asked to explain ourselves, defend who we are, or make our joy palatable. I believe we deserve spaces where we don’t have to explain anything — where we can just show up, let loose, and feel completely at home.

- Dinner Night for January!
Meet us 6:15p to 8:00p at the Chicken Pie Shop, 2633 El Cajon Blvd, San Diego, CA 92104. Join us for a night at one of our favorite comfort food locations. This one starts earlier than normal because the restaurant itself closes earlier than some of our other favorite location.

- Bears San Diego Friendsgiving
Friendsgiving has become a tradition over the years and this year, we continue such at the home of one of our members.
We will have Turkey and Ham provided, but please bring all the sides to accompany it. Please be on the lookout for a sign-up sheet that will be available soon.
We hope to see all of our extended Bear Family present, as it’s been one heck of a year
