- Annual Mac-Off Contest!
It’s time again: the Annual Bears San Diego Mac Off contest. Bring an appetite and your Lactaid if you have an intolerance, because we’ve got a lineup brewing this year. If you think you have a Mac-n-Cheese recipe worthy of the title, then join us. Entering the contest is free; just bring enough of your cheesy goodness for 20 people or more.
Judging the Cheesiest is for anyone who wants to try it out. We bring the spoon savers and sample bowls, with larger ones available once people have had their chance to try them all. Judging is $7, with proceeds going to the Bears San Diego Titleholders Travel Funds and Special Delivery. We do take tap-enabled credit cards, Venmo, and PayPal.
Prizes for the winners and runners-up will be presented at the end of the contest. The Brass Rail is awesome enough to host us this year, so tip your bartenders accordingly!
- Brunch and a Movie!!!

Join us as we hit Red Robin up for late morning Sunday brunch before we head over to the AMC Bonita Theater and catch Supergirl in her debut movie.
As the poster says, food at 11am, and Red Robin is on the northern loop outside the mall itself so hopefully parking will be available.
If you want to dine elsewhere and join us for just the movie, that’s great too! We’ve started seats in Row-G on the left side, but will no doubt fill out as needed. Get tickets early if you have the AMC App on your phone, it will make things a lot smoother.

Yes, it’s our nation’s 250th birthday this year, and that should be a great reason to celebrate, but this year, we want to add to the excitement. Our own Mr. Bear San Diego Alan Bravo is celebrating his as well. So come out and join us at Tom, Cody, and Kev’s place (address on the flyer to the right) as we sit back, relax, and celebrate reasons that are near and dear to us.
This party is all-ages welcome, and socialized dogs are as well, though you’ll need to clean up after them yourself. Bring your own towel and bathing suit, the pool and hot tub should both be available.
We look forward to seeing you there! Members are Free, and we ask for a $10 donation for non-members and guests.
